Guest's Rental (TCR Di2) Experience (email):

Hello Daniele,

Just a quick mail to tell you how delighted we are with the three bikes we have rented.

Everything went perfectly to plan with the three excellent bikes, and we did not have one single accident, we managed to get out riding six times on beautiful Elba, so the bikes are being returned to you in the same perfect condition as we received them in.

Hello Riccardo,

Please make sure the pump(s), saddle bags / repair kits, ‎the spare tire, and the bike lock that Daniele kindly provided for our comfort are all returned together with the bikes.

Thanks again for all your's and Carlos kind assistance and guidance during our week at your wonderful hotel.

Warmest regards,

Peter

Guest's Rental Experience:

I hired road bikes for my wife, son and myself for summer 2016. We were staying near Barga and had the bikes dropped off at our villa. Daniele arrived right on time, the bikes were setup perfectly for our measurements so Daniele just needed to fit the pedals which he did with the minimum of fuss. The bikes were very well maintained and in good condition. The riding around the area was fantastic. I went for Di2 which was a nice luxury but didn't make the hills any easier! Would fully recommend EcoRent. Neil Mc.L.

We hired 4 mountainbikes. 15-18 oktober. We stayed in Calci.
Daniele is a fine guy and very capable in his job.
The bikes are not only beautiful but also good for us to have wonderful experience in the mountains.
The deliverly and pick-up went very smoothly.
No complains at all.
Thanks.

merci !

Daniele was fabulous and his bike too. Let's start at the beginning! I was travelling solo across Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio and it was hard to find a bike rental person who seemed reliable from afar... I tried at least 10 different companies and Daniele at ECO Rent was the only one who answered all my questions over and over again! So from a personnel perspective ECO Rent is brilliant. He also picked me up from the airport and he does open on the weekends if you arrive/leave then, which I did! He was very patient when I had a 5 hour delay by plane too... The bike was spectacular. So smart and the tyres were fab, no punctures at all. I was sad to leave it behind on my way back. We struck up a rapport and Daniele made sure that I was safe via text on my trip. Seriously, what a great service! Daniele is reliable, flexible, considerate and has excellent bikes which will not let you down. All you need now is to work on your muscles - they are not lying when they say it is hilly!

We rented three road bikes from Daniele for a two week circumnavigation of Tuscany in June 2016. Every aspect of the trip, from the time we contacted Daniele, to the arranging of the hotels, the maps and guides, the delivery of the bikes, the moving of the luggage, and pickup up at the end; all were fantastic! Daniele went out of his way several times to provide support on left baggage, flexibility of meeting times, and extra help when we needed it. We have rented with him before, and will continue to do so in the future. His approach is thoughtful, he has a can-do attitude, and the follow up is excellent. Thanks very much Daniele.

We are a group of mtb bikers from the Netherlands , at the begin of april we rent 7 bikes from ecorent [thursday 15:00 / sunday 18:00] .
-the rental experience was very good.
-the pre rental assistance took past by mail ,they where very patience with al my questions and i always became directly answer
-the bike delivery was at the apartment perfect on time as agreed , at the same time there was contact by sms in case of delay , the hand in [turn in of the bikes] took place at the same way [they came with a small truck]
-the bikes where brand new so whe where Lucky , the bikes are as the pictures on the site so no problem at al , they where labelled at size and name for every person from our group , whe became for each bike saddle bags , tools , pump , spare inner tubes , bidon , so that was very complete.
-the bike fitting was completed by delivery , fine tuning saddles and pedals , the right size and type of bike and price was by mail already agreed for every person.
-the website is very good and for questions you can contact by mail , there is an reservation form on the site where everything is agreed [kind of bike , size ,names of the persons, price] so there is no discussion .
So to close this comment on the guestbook i can say whe where very satisfied about ecorent

I worked with Daniel to arrange state of the art bicycles for our trip to Chianti. He was diligent in getting the sizing and other information to connect with us to get the bikes. I brought tools to make the minor adjustments I thought would be required, but the fit was 'perfect' for both of our bikes from the get go. The Giant TCR's couldn't have worked out better for our riding adventures in Italy. This attention to detail was greatly appreciated. My only complaint is that Linda liked the bike Daniel provided so much I had to buy her one like it when we returned home. ECORENT has our highest recommendation.

We rented 3 road race bikes (all of them size 60cm). Daniele was really quick to answer all our requests, which made the whole rental process very easy. Once in Italy the bikes punctually delivered right at the agreed time in Lucca. Each bike was set up to our size and the condition of each bike was very good. Highly recommended, will return to this rental company when I'm going back to that region.

We had 5 great days touring in Tuscany at the end of April this year. We hired 5 road bikes and an electric bicycle from eco-rent and cycled 300 km. Daniele was fantastically helpful whilst we were planning our holiday. He organised transfers from Pisa to our starting point at Casciana Termes where we met him with the bikes which had been set up to our measurements. Everything went according to our plan. He was really helpful during the trip when we had some problems with the electric bike's battery, and was there to collect the bikes on the final day as agreed. Two of the Alu frame bikes were a bit tired but the carbon frame bike was great and the other Alu frame bikes were fine. We had no mechanical failures and everyone was very happy, promising to return for more adventures. Thanks Daniele - see you next year!

We are spending a week driving through Tuscany with the scooter.
This we had rented by Ecorent in Pisa from the Netherlands.
Everything was perfectly arranged, and the scooter wast delivered to the airport.
Everything perfectly on time.
As advice rent a Vespa GTS 125cc, really super for the mountains.
We spent the whole week here with two driven onto the scooter and drove about 700 km.
This really is a must to discover Tuscany.
All thanks to Daniele, where we have arranged all over the internet.

With best regards,

Rene and Marielle

Good racing bikes for a fair price per day. There are some nice climbs, but also flat parts around Pisa which makes it a good training area. It is ideal that the bikes can be brought to your location and can be picked up afterwards.

I recently rented two Vespa's to visit Tuscany with my best friend, starting from Pisa. The possibility of having the Vespa's delivered at the airport for a reasonable fee certainly was a big plus in choosing for Eco-Rent and Daniele. The scooters were in excellent state and included top boxes which made it easier and more convenient to travel as we were making a roundtrip. Day 1 we visited Pisa, Lucca and Vinci, Day 2 Florence, Day 3 Siena, Montriggioni, Colle di Val d'Elsa and San Gimignano, and Day 4 Volterra, before heading back to the airport - finishing our trip with some ice cream close to the airport. I would recommend this trip and the use of Eco-Rent's Vespa's at anytime to anyone interested in visiting the area.

We are a small cycling club from Denmark who rented bikes to run in the mountains.
We have only positive to say about Ecorent. They are very professional in the way they deliver the bikes.
All adjustments were as they should be at 13 cycles and gera etc. was perfectly set. Nice bicycle to run on :-)
I highly recommend renting bikes here.

Hi,
We were a group of five friends, well decided to discover Tuscany, all Tuscany, in 6 days, by bikes, including monuments, culture, gastronomy, countryside, vineyards ... Our plan was to pick up the bikes at Pisa airport (where we met Daniele), ride to the station and directly go to Florence. Then we visited Florence, and the day later started our trip in chianti to Panzano (we highly recommand Dario Cecchini restaurant https://www.dariocecchini.com/dariocecchini/ ). The third day we cycled to Sienna, and on the 4th day to San Gimignano. The 5th day, was the Mountain bike day, from san Gimignano to Empoli through countryside and single tracks (and NO flat tyre !!). We took the train there back to Pisa. We had planed to go to Viareggio on the last day and enjoy the sea, but the rain finally came and we "just" enjoyed Pisa as normal walking tourists, its secret leaning towers, nice streets, museum, ice-cream (if I may : ) and aperitivo !
We gave back the bikes in the evening, just 5 steps away from our B and B.
As a conclusion, these short holidays were great, assisted by Daniele and Eco-Rent, who helped us save time with delivery at the airport and pick at our B and B. We had all the info needed in advance, about equipment, what to bring and everything. Communication was easy for the final delivery. The bikes were really great, but they do not make Tuscany flatter ! And my friends were so happy to keep the eco-rent water bottle as a souvenir !
See you Daniele !

Guest's Rental Experience, extract from bike forum: https://www.velocipedesalon.com/forum/f2/tuscany-near-lucca-road-bike-re...

before the rental

... This year we are staying in the same villa but renting from a different company - Ecorent. Daniele, who is the contact there, has been very professional. He asked for contact point measurements and dimensions of our current bikes, the company will deliver the bikes to the villa and then return to collect them when we are done, the reservation is guaranteed with a credit card, and every thing seems a notch above Pa......'s well-meaning homegrown service. Our bikes will be Giant TCR's with Shimano Di2. However, we haven't rented from Ecorent in the past and while they seem to get good reviews elsewhere, the proof will come when we arrive in Italy in late July. I am optimistic but you never know. ...

after the rental

Follow up report on our trip - EcoRent was great. Bikes arrived at EXACTLY the time Daniele said they would. He delivered them himself. All the measurements were spot on too. We just switched out my wife's saddle to her own. I always suggest bringing your own saddle when renting. I'd guess the bike I rode was new - still had immaculate white saddle and tape. My wife's wasn't much older (though both were previous year models, which seems to be what bike rentals buy, for obvious reasons.) Daniele actually delivered the bike for our friend with our bikes even though our friend wasn't going to arrive until a later in the week AND he did it without a deposit as they had crossed wires on the details. So in other words, to make sure our friend had a bike, Daniele went out on a limb a bit, which was above and beyond. Then he showed up right on time at the end of the two weeks to pick up the bikes and everything went perfectly smoothly. So I'd wholeheartedly recommend renting from EcoRent.

Daniele!

Thank you again for helping make our trip! We had a great time biking through Tuscany and wouldn't have been able to do it without you being so accommodating.

We'll let anyone we know who's headed your way to get in touch!

Hi,
We rent a mortorbike Vespa, to travel around Toscana. 5 days, almost 600 km and for sure an amazing experience. The experience with eco rent was fantastic, fast and easy pick up and delivery and perfect comunications.

The 5 days in toscana was amazing, beautiful views, beautiful towns, perfect food and wines, the best way to do that is in a motorbike.

I look forward to doing again.
